The actress opened up about her perfectly-placed jewelry while at Showtime's Emmy Eve Party in LA on September 20, 2016.
When asked by the People if she was set to wed the Grown Ups star, Chris Rock 51, her answer was clear: 'Definitely not.'
She added:
“Oh no, am I going to get in trouble for this? Why would anyone think that? I’ve never worn an engagement ring. This right here is my alleged engagement ring, which is obviously not an engagement ring so just an FYI. It’s a pearl. It’s not even a diamond.”
And while Megalyn was initially coy about her relationship with Chris Rock, Echikunwoke eventually opened up about her romance with the actor.
“What can I say? I have a boyfriend.He’s a comedian. He’s funny. He’s really wonderful. He’s a very dreamy guy, and I’m a lucky girl.”
Arrow actress revealed that she is not a believer in marriage. She added:
“I’m actually not a huge believer in marriage. If he made a really good case for it, I guess … I guess there’s this misconception about once you’re engaged how could you possibly want anything more than marriage and kids. It’s kind of like lock down a rich guy. I’m here to say that there’s more to life than that, and this common lame notion that that’s all a girl could possibly want in life is completely bulls–t. So, I mean, I have a boyfriend who I love and that’s all I need.”
