Natalie was born on 29th January 1982 in Springfield, Minnesota. Her father Larry Bomke was a senator for Illinois while her mother Sally Bomke was a teacher.

Career

Growing up, Natalie always wanted to move to Chicago and pursue her higher education there. In 2004, she graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelors degree in broadcast journalism and started working in ABC 15 broadcast station in Chicago as an anchor.

She moved to California to work for channel Fox 40 in 2010 but eventually returned to the city again to work for WFLD-TV FOX 32 as an anchor.

While at Fox, she has reported on several sensitive and vital issues such as suicides among veterans. Due to her efforts in raising awareness on such matters, Houston Press Club awarded Natalie on the category of Best Television Documentary.

The Chicago-based anchor is married to Edward Swiderski, a former Bachelorette contestant. Edward first saw Natalie on TV and started talking to her through Twitter. They finally got engaged in 2014 after he proposed her in the California Red Forest.

Although Edward was slated to get engaged with Bachelorette star Jillian Harris in 2009, it got canceled. Interestingly, he had cheated on Jillian with two girls, which led to the couple's break up.
