Andre Mitchell has been working in the NBC News as a television journalist, anchor, reporter, and commentator since 1978. However, she was not alone the whole way of the long journey as it was made easy because of her husband's company.

Having been divorced once in 1970, she found the love of her life, or we can say, her soulmate after 27 years, and got married to him in 1997.

Who Is Andre Mitchell's Husband? Do They Have Children?

Andrea was married to Gil Jackson but got divorced in the year 1970. However, Jackson and Andrea didn't have any children together.

Later in 1997, she married Alan Greenspan, an American economist who served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve of the United States (1987-2006). Greenspan now works as a private advisor and provides consulting for firms through Greenspan Associates LLC.

The wedding was officiated at the Inn at Little Washington by the associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the Supreme Court.

It's already been 24 years since their marriage, but their love and relationship are as strong as any teenagers in their 20's. They have maintained their marriage pretty well, and as far as we know, they are still going strong.

Alan Greenspan, now 94, and Andrea Mitchell, 74, share an average of 20 year age difference between them. Yet, despite the huge age gap, the couple has managed to maintain a small happy family life.

Despite their long married life, they do not have any children of their own, nor have they adopted any except Andreas's god-daughter.

According to a source, there were rumors about the couple likely to go through a divorce just because Andrea wanted children and Alan didn’t. However, it can be considered baseless rumors as the couple hasn’t spoken about it.

Husband Previously Married To Joan Mitchell

It’s not only Andrea who was married before. Alan Greenspan was also married before he bonded with Andrea.

Alan was husband to a woman named Joan Mitchell in the year 1952 but in less than a year, got divorced. Neither Alan nor Andrea has any records for children from their previous marriages.
