NCIS: LA alum, Alicia Coppola to Be Seen As a Doctor in CBS' TV Show "The Young and the Restless"

If you have watched 'We are your friends', you might be able to recognize Alicia Coppola a.k.a. Mrs. Romero. There is good news for her fans who were longing for her to grace the television screen once more. Reports have it that she will soon be seen as a doctor in CBS' TV show "The Young and the Restless."

Though  Alicia Coppola is from the CBS' family, she has appeared on several seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles, and currently, she’s joining the daytime drama. She is enthusiastic to portray herself as a doctor (Dr. Meredith Gates) in 'The Young and the Restless.

Alicia Coppola On The TV Show, The Young and the Restless

The New York University graduate, Alicia Coppola is best known for her role of Lorna Devon in the American TV series, Another World (1964-1999). After more than 20 years, she made a comeback to daytime-TV in the series, The Young and the Restless in 2016. 

In an interview with Digest on March 2016, she revealed her initial discussions for her role in the series saying, 

 "They explained a little bit about it and who I would be working with and sent me some material."

Similarly, she also talked about her instant liking for the character saying, 

"In those 10 pages that I read, it was a really fully fleshed-out female character. I haven’t really read something like that in a long time, something that was so dynamic and interesting that I automatically saw a backstory. She reminds me of Lorna. She feels things very deeply, and I just think there’s a lot more going on than what’s on the surface. I like that.”

She debuted in the series, The Young and the Restless in April 2016. 

Besides the series, she is currently working on the TV show, NCIS: Los Angeles, which is running on the 9th season.

Similarly, on 7 November 2008, Alicia gave birth to second child, a daughter named Esmé Marlena Jones when she was 40 years old. Two years after, in 2010, she welcomed her third daughter named Greta Helena Jones on 22 February. 

She has been enjoying her family life and shares the strong bond with her daughters too. As per her Instagram, she posted an image with her two daughters celebrating the Christmas time on 25 December 2016. She even wished a happy birthday to her husband which she also shared on her Instagram. 

The Huntington, New York native shared a family photo together on her Instagram wishing her fans and families a Happy New Year in 2018. 

Apart from her personal life, the actress has been earning some hefty sum of money considering her career and lifestyle. The former host of the show, Remote Control, has a net worth in millions for sure, but the exact figure has never been revealed. She has always worked hard, and it has always paid off in style.
