His marriage is being questioned as he gets tangled in the accusations of sexual harassment amid gay rumors.
Unsuccessful Dating List
Nev previously dated the beautiful musician Shanee Pink in 2013.
Nev's relationship with Shanee came into the limelight when he first announced via Twitter on 2013 at the conclusion of Monday night's episode of Catfish. He tweeted a post saying 'I have a girlfriend that I'm crazy in love with.'
Later, he also shared that his girlfriend was a musician and her song was featured in the show. It's not clear where the couple met, but Nev made it clear that they did not meet on the internet.

However, the couple broke up and parted ways without mentioning the reason. Nev also shared a post via Facebook on November 2015 quoting Shanee his ex-girlfriend. He wrote,
LADIES LISTEN UP! My amazing ex-girlfriend Shanee Pink has a new album and it's incredible. Her honest, confident, sexy upbeat music is loaded with emotional vulnerability and uplifting independence. There may even be a song or two about me...
Moreover, In an interview with mtv.com, Nev shared that he was he was single since the beginning of Catfish season 4 premiere on February 2015.
After that, the star was seemingly dating Big Brother hottie Tully Smyth around 2015 when they spotted getting cozy at the Fast and Furious 7 premiere. The pair, who met over Twitter, stayed at Nev's LA pad when she was in the States.
But their relationship seemed to have not lasted long as he was speculated to be dating Alexis Liela Afshar in the same year.
However, the couple never confirmed their relationship in the media, making their relationship a mystery.
Finally Found The One: Married Life
Despite unsuccessful relationships, Nev finally found his love for life in Laura Perlongo. The couple met in 2015's summer. Some sources claim that they had a long distance relationship and met through mutual friends in NYC while some said they met while working on a project together.
Whatever may be the answer, their relationship cycled at full speed as Laura announced her pregnancy in February 2016 after dating Nev for seven months
In an article of attn.com Laura opened up saying:
Hi. My name is Laura Perlongo and I'm pregnant accidentally on purpose.
Well, the happy news just did not end there as on May 2016 Nev again made another big announcement saying that he is engaged to his girlfriend, Laura. He took the news to his Instagram and captioned 'we're engaged.'

And after a couple of months, the pair welcomed their first child, a daughter, together on 21 October 2016 and named Cleo James. Nev announced the news on his social media and shared,
Best. Thing. Ever. Cleo James arrived at 6:01 am weighing 6lbs 10oz. Shout out to my baby mama @el_peego for delivering this bundle of joy.
And the happiness kept on continuing for the couple as they finally tied the not on 22 July 2017. The wedding ceremony was held in the back garden of Nev's father in East Hampton, NY, where the guests enjoyed the party with cocktails.

Nev gushed about his wife and his happiness during an interview with PEOPLE. He said,
I never imagined I could be this happy. Marrying the woman of my dreams and having our beautiful daughter there with us! I’m a very lucky man.
Indeed, Nev looks to be on his Cloud nine while being with his family. And their blissful family life is very transparent as both the couple timely updates their social media with their family glimpses.
Supports Gay; Makes Him One?
Nev, who belongs to Ashkenazi Jewish ethnicity, has been rumored to be a gay a lot of times. He is one of the supporters of the LGBT community and timely shares social posts dedicated to them. Back on 22 May 2015, he tweeted writing,
If you don't like gay marriage, blame straight people. They're the ones who keep having gay babies.
#marriageeqaulity
His support for the rights of the gay people has raised questions regarding his sexual orientation. And the rumors got fueled when Nev tweeted a picture with his co-partner Max Joseph on 16 January 2017 and wrote,
We're not gay, but how cute would it be if we were?!?
But the married life of Nev and his past relationships are the pieces of evidence that Nev is not gay and his sexual orientation is straight.
Tangled In Sexual Scandals: Guilty?
Amid the family bliss, the 33-years-old got tangled in controversies of sexual misconduct.
One of the participants from the fourth season of Catfish in 2015, Ayissha Morgan posted a video on YouTube on 12 May 2018 and accused of sexual harassment. In the video, she referred Nev as "Jack" and stated that he harassed her sexually during her time in the show.
Ayissha, who identifies as a lesbian, implied that Jack kept questioning her sexual orientation and forced her to have sex with him.
She even accused a female production assistant, referred to as "Carol," of getting her drunk and taking advantage in a video she posted two days later the first one.
In response to the videos, during an interview with the E! News Nev pleaded that he is not guilty. He stated that the allegations were fake and he had colleagues to prove it false.
"The behavior described in this video did not happen and I'm fortunate that there are a number of former colleagues who were present during this time period who are willing to speak up with the truth. I have always been transparent about my life and would always take responsibility for my actions — but these claims are false."
The spokesperson of MTV also stated that the case would be thoroughly examined and investigated.
And as of now, Nev and his show are temporarily suspended. We will have to pause until the investigation is over to find out if Nev is guilty or not!
