Niles Fitch: From Musicals to Mainstream Hollywood

Niles Fitch, who belongs to the Afro-American origin, was born on 12th July 2001 in Atlanta, to a financial advisor father and an Attorney mother.

Niles parents encouraged Niles to pursue acting after they found their son excited to smile at the cameras. Niles signed his first agency as a model at the age of three and started his career.

By the age of seven, Niles was starring in digital and print advertisements, and signed with Wilhelmina Models, a famous modeling agency known for grooming young children with potential in 2008.

Later when he was nine, Niles debuted as young Martin Luther King in a musical I dream, directed by the famous, Jasmine Guy.

Niles parents, who were now aware of their son's potential, relocated their family to New York in 2010. After just one year there, Niles landed in a cast as young Samba in the Disneys musical The Lion King.

Later, in a Touring Show of the musical, Niles won the Denver Post Ovation Award for the Best Supporting Actor.

Niles, who stands at the height of 1.8 meters (5 feet 11 inches), first break in television came through an episode of House of Payne, but it was his portrayal of the character Deuce, son of Natasha Montclair, in the series Army Wives, that made him a household name in the US.

Despite the end of Army Wives in 2013, roles kept coming for Niles, and he appeared as a guest in popular series including Law & Order SVU, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Disney’s Best Friends. He even had a role of Brooklyn in the critically acclaimed comedy movie St. Vincent in 2014.

The same year, in 2014, Niles lost his beloved father. Commemorating his dad, Niles Instagrammed a picture of him on 7th January 2017, and via the captions, expressed his love towards him.

As of now, Niles is busy working in his role of Randall Pearson in the NBC's number one rated Television series; This Is Us that he landed in 2016.

Besides from acting passion, Niles is interested in playing basketball, reading, drawing, and sketching. His one of the favorite books is the Paulo Coelho masterpiece, The Alchemist.
