Later, she worked as an anchor and reporter at WOIO/WUAB (Cleveland), WCAU (Philadelphia), WSVN (Miami), and WMAR (Baltimore). Sharon then moved to St. Louis, where she continued her job working at Meredith sister-station KMOV.
