The Scottish radio presenter, Shereen Nanjiani was born on 4th October 1961 in a village called Elderslie, Renfrewshire in west central Scotland. She is a daughter of a Pakistani eye surgeon, Max and a nurse, Enid, who are supposed to have met while working at a hospital in Hastings, East Sussex.
The family of Shereen moved to Elderslie a year after she was born.
Shereen, an owner of nifty height, did her schooling at the John Neilson Institute/High School in Paisley and then joined Glasgow University, where she earned an MA degree in Philosophy.
She began her work as a local news reader on Hospital Radio Paisley and later got a job as a trainee journalist in 1983 with STV. The trainee Shereen then became a presenter of STV's main evening program and soon established herself as station's most popular presenter.

After 22 years of service in STV, Shereen left the studio to move to other exciting projects on May 5, 2006. The STV star then joined BBC on June 20, 2006, and began working as a presenter of Scotland Live, which is a news and current affairs magazine program.
