Thirty-one years old gorgeous actress Sonequa married actor Kenric Green in the year 2010. The duo, who first met while acting in the play named Fetch Clay, Make Man kept their wedding out of the limelight. However, it is known that Sonequa exchanged vows with her boyfriend in front of their family and close friends in an intimate wedding. The pair shares a son together, Kenric Justin Green II who was born on January 10, 2015.

The pair loves working together, and they have appeared on the sixth season of The Walking Dead. While filming season 5 of The Walking Dead, the mixed ethnicity actress Sonequa was pregnant with her son and had to hide her baby bump for the sake of her career. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly in February 2015, she revealed hiding her belly to be easy. She explained-
“I’m really blessed to have a great pregnancy. I’m not swollen or blown up anywhere else. I’m very grateful for that. It’s helped hide the whole thing, because it’s really just my stomach we have to deal with. For the longest time, just the layers that I’m wearing would hide the whole thing.”
“And my gun is really big, so that helps too. So it’s been okay, and now at this point it’s about just doing good right angles and not turning to a full profile. As long as I’m face-on, there’s a trick of the camera—you can’t quite see it.”
Now, Sonequa and her husband Kenric are parenting their son well despite their busy schedule.
