Tate was born on 26 January 1998 in  Las Vagas, Nevada. His parents wanted their son to grow up and carry the family legacy in football. As a child, he was raised along with his younger sister Rylee Martell, who is an Instagram star with more than 70K followers.
Training hard as a teenager, Tate eventually started as a left tackle at the age of seven in Mitey Mite Division. Later, he joined the Ohio States for high school and continued with football.Â
