A Glimpse At Personal Life Of Tinker Hatfield

Talking about Tinker Hatfield's personal front, he is happily married to Jackie Hatfield, who he first met at Oregon, for a long time now.

The pair shares three children together; all daughters; however, Tinker has kept daughter's name a secret. Despite that, he does not fail to demonstrate his love towards his daughters. He created some design of shoes for his daughters at their early age, presenting his invention as love.

Not only daughters, but Tinker has immense love for Jackie too.

In 2011, Tinker designed Camp Hatfield at Oden Bay and presented as a gift for his wife, making Jackie's life-long dream of being a camp director come true.

Later in an interview with sandpointonline.com in May 2011, Jackie revealed that his wife was the inspiration behind Camp Hatfield. When he was asked what his wife's role in the making of Camp Hatfield was, he stated,

"She's the inspiration for the whole thing, to be quite straightforward. She has really conducted her life as a mom and an outdoor enthusiast, almost like a camp counselor. The kids were always going on adventures, and she seems like she raised half the neighborhood. Our house was always full of young people. It was always her dream to do that kind of thing in a mountainous environment. When we acquired the property, it was my gift to her, so to speak, to conceive a camp of sorts, so that she could not only have a place to go and be on the lake and go for hikes and do things with her family, but also invite other friends and maybe some kids and hopefully grandkids someday and essentially have kind of her own little mini-camp."

Tinker, who also loves cycling, pole vaulting, football and rock climbing, is indeed an example of a celebrity who can balance both personal and professional life, don't you think so?

Tinker Hatfield's Bio: Impressive Net Worth At His Side

Tinker Hatfield was born on 30 April 1952 in Hillsboro, Oregon. Tinker, who pursued his school education in his hometown, graduated in architecture from University of Oregon School of Architecture.

Later, in 1981, Tinker joined Nike and started working on shoe designs. He designed different designs like Air Max 1 Running Shoe (1987) and Infrared Air Max 90 shoe (1990). His most popular designs include Air Jordan XX, XXIII, Air Jordan XV, 2010 (XXV) and Air Max.

Tinker also collaborated with famous athlete Michael Jordan for more than 30 years. On 30-years anniversary of collaboration with Michael, he expressed his feelings in an interview with highsnobiety.com in March 2015. He stated,

I like to see it as an inspiration and influence from him. Without Michael and his ideas, I don’t know if we would have been able to achieve all this. I would make notes to myself about how I saw Michael as an individual – very sophisticated, yet he would always boil things down to what is most important, and that’s the way he played the game. It has become part of the Jordan brand, being sophisticated whilst also keeping everything clean and simple.

Tinner also created the graphic design on the basketball court at the University of Oregon which was opened in 2011.

For his contribution to shoe-designing, Tinker was named as one of the ‘most influential people on the business side of sports’ by Sportstyle Magazine in 1993 and 1996. Later, Tinker Hatfield was also inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in 2008 for his special and unique contribution to sports.

Currently, Hatfield serves as the Vice President for Design and Special Projects of Nike. Tinker earns an immense salary that contributes his already established net worth of $25 Million.
