People often think that getting married is the biggest goal of one’s love life, but they often forget that marriage can end in no time. The real goal in life is to maintain a healthy relationship with your husband or wife to make the marriage everlasting. Something La La Anthony has done successfully till now.

Lala Anthony is a long time wife of basketball player Carmelo Anthony. Learn about their married life and how they are spending their time together. Also, what about their children, do they have any kids together? Find out everything about her family and also settle your doubts about her ethnicity controversy.

Her Married Life: Husband and Children/Son

La La married to Carmelo Anthony on July 10, 2010. The couple conducted their wedding ceremony at Cipriani restaurant in New York in front of 320 guests including big names like LeBron James, Spike Lee, Serena Williams, Ciara, Kim Kardashian and Ludacris.

The couple walked down the aisle by none other than their son, Kiyan Carmelo Anthony. Here is a picture of the ceremony posted on Twitter by a fan.

They had gotten engaged on the Christmas day of 2004. Their son, Kyan was born on July 2007 after revealing it to the media on September 2006. Kyan was born weighing in at 5 pounds and 9 ounces.

Pregnancy Rumors:

There have been a lot of pregnant rumors of La La in recent times, but she has laid rest to these rumors. She has opened up about the rumors being completely fake. "No I'm not pregnant," she said with Latina.com on September 2016.

"I've been hearing that a lot lately but not I'm not."

She added pointing towards her tummy that lacked the presence of any bumps,

“Where? I'm not, I'm not.”

With her this statement she has made it clear that she is not pregnant and laid rest to all the rumors.

Spending Time with Husband:

Since July 2016, the happy couple will endure their married life of six years. So, it is evident that the couple would be celebrating the six-year milestone in their relationship. We do not know how the couple celebrated their special day, but she did post a throwback image from their wedding with a sweet caption on Instagram.

"If you live to be a hundred, I want to live that long minus one day, so I never have to live without you." HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MY EVERYTHING ????????7-10-2010??

She also posted a short video on Instagram where she lip-synched a song about anniversaries as her husband joined her to perform a duet. She had also been the first to congratulate her man on his win on the men’s Olympic basketball team.

Spending Time with Son:

Lala also enjoys spending a lot of time with son Kyan. There has been a report on July that Kyan is following in the footsteps of his father. Kyan plays with the New York Gauchos, and though his team composes of just 2nd graders, they not only compete but crush their 3rd-grade opponents.

The team finished 9th which is great comparing the circumstances and their director; Maxwell Cole had nothing but praise for the Anthony junior.

La La and her husband were both there to cheer for their son. She looked very supportive of him in every moment together like their photo before.

Ending the Ethnicity Controversy:

La La cleared up about her “I’m not Black, I’m Puerto Rica” comment she made in January 2010, in December 2013 after the Bossip Awards with bossip.com. She says that she wants recognition from both of her ethnicity. When asked about if she wanted to hide her “black” background like many people out there, she replied by saying,

“Not me, I embrace being a Black-Puerto Rican and think we are plentiful and do exist! I am more “black” than people think.”

So, in the end, we can conclude that she has a very stable relationship with her husband and son. Her personal life is at best track ever, and she has a blissful life.
