While the world is still rejoicing the beginning of the year 2017, Choreographer Maksim Chmerkovskiy got blessed with a baby boy as a New Year gift. On 4th January 2017, the Dancing star pair Peta Murgatroyd and fiancé Maksim Chmerkovskiy welcomed their first child, Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy at 5:34 am on Wednesday in New York City.

But, before undergoing the intense procedure of delivery, the to-be mother shared the picture of her getting ready and flaunting her makeup skills through social media.
Right before the delivery, Pete had a perfect baby shower on 18th December 2016 with his close friends and family. Pete shared a picture of her baby shower expressing her desire to have a baby shower every week.
Simultaneously, she flaunted her baby bumps with her man on Instagram, while thanking all her friends and family for such an amazing experience.
With the ongoing dancing competition” Dancing With the Star” Pete was unwilling to share the news of her pregnancy, but could not hold much longer due to Maksim's frequent nausea and tiredness during rehearsal. Finally, on the second trimester, the couple shared the picture where Pete was seen flaunting her baby bumps.

Maksim expressed her excitement on the advent of the baby when she said,
“I’m looking forward to nurturing something and just having the baby be the center of our world. I’m looking forward to putting all our energy into this beautiful soul.”

The couple got engaged in the month of December 2015, where Maksim popped the question of marriage before the large audience in Miami right after the event. The duo was on the verge of starting of the family after their summer wedding 2017 but had no plans of having a baby till then. But with the addition of a child in their plans, they are looking forward to having a picture perfect wedding after six months of their baby’s arrival.
