Good Going! Thomas Rhett And Wife Expecting A Baby And Adopting A Second One
With a beautiful love story and a happily married life Thomas Rhett on 15th February, 2017 shared the news of his wife Lauren Akins expecting a baby followed by the adoption of the second baby through Instagram. Lauren and Thomas are expecting their children while they are adopting the second child at the same time from Africa. The soon to be father shared the news in excitement by posting a couple of picture with a golden balloon spelling out the word baby followed by the caption,” "We are so happy to announce that we are pregnant and we are in the process of adopting a child from Africa! Safe to say life is about to get crazy.”
Followingly, the soon to be mother Lauren Akins reposted the same picture before her husband, captioning it as, "OH BABY! actually.BABIES! Our hearts are exploding with happiness for y'all to meet our new baby who we are bringing home from Africa soon which is also going to have a little brother or sister because SURPRISE! There's a sweet baby in my belly too," she captioned via Instagram. "#adopting&pregnant #cominginhot2017."
Furthermore, the new father is thoroughly preparing himself for his two children and expressed the year 2017 to be a big year for him as well as for his wife. To theboot.com, he said:
“I think the way it all worked out, both of us have such a peace about this whole process, which it’s so right. We could not be happier. We feel like 2017 is going to be our big year.”
While Akins further disclosed about wanting to get pregnant a bit earlier and start her family but despite continuously trying to get a baby, the couple had failed and finally decided to take the step of adoption. Through a source she said:
"We tried to get pregnant for a little bit before. It was a good chunk of time, and our family is extremely fertile, so I was expecting it to happen easily. I was like, ‘Maybe this is the Lord’s way of telling me adoption is what he wants me to do. And I was OK with that. It’s funny to me how we tried so hard, and then we didn’t try at all, and it happened. We feel like it’s all part of the plan.”
Lauren and Thomas had known each other since grade one at Valdosta, Georgia and had been in on and off relationship since the age of 15 while the couple got hitched in October 2012. Congratulations Lauren and Thomas for the mixed blessings in your life!
