Jussi-Pekka Kajaala & New Boyfriend Are Official! Story With Openly Gay Adam Rippon

Adam Rippon is relishing his new romance at the age of 28!

The Olympic skater, Adam Rippon made his relationship with the Finnish boyfriend Jussi-Pekka Kajaala official on Monday via an Instagram post. The image features a shirtless snap from a hike at Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles.

As stated by their close friend, the openly gay couple met via Tinder. Moreover, Rippon added that they've been talking for the past seven months and had started dating out a little bit more due to their busy schedule.

The 28-year-old athlete, who helped the US win a bronze medal at February's Winter Olympics, had previously ended his relationship with his then-boyfriend of two years. Explaining why he left his boyfriend for Olympics, he divulged: 

“This was my third Olympic cycle and I was like, ‘I cannot have any regrets.” 

Additionally, the fan-favorite Olympian since the 2018 Winter Olympics, stated:

“Everything was great with him, he was a great guy, but I felt like I really needed to focus on myself. I was lucky that my ex-boyfriend is such a nice person that we’re still friends now.” 

After the separation from the boyfriend of two-years, he had shared in the latest episode of The Jess Cagle Interview that he would not be racing to get back into a relationship.

However, the pride-Olympian returned home from his medal-winning glory in South Korea, and since then he was active in the social networking sites to find the perfect partner for himself which he wanted to happen, "organically."

And it seems he found the perfect partner in the tall-and dashing- Jussi-Pekka Kajaala, who he found after trying the Tinder and Grindr.
