Lea DeLaria Puts A Halting Hand Over Dating Affair And Called For A Split With Girlfriend

Lea DeLaria, the star of “Orange Is the New Black” has called off her relationship with long-time girlfriend Chelsea Fairless. It leaves that they are no longer a couple anymore!

Having stayed in relationship and dating for four years, the couple decided to split their relationship mutually in a friendly term.

The reason behind the pair's separation has not been out. It was in a recent Instagram post that Lea DeLaria announced that she had called it quits with her girlfriend. The post read,

"Apparently this was an eerily prophetic choice of engagement photo as our relationship has since gone the way of David and Liza, with one small exception: our split is amicable. Please exclude us from the tragic and basic celebrity breakup narrative. We were happy together for four years and will remain in each other's lives. In fact, we look forward to finding new ways to torture each other. We would like to thank our incredible friends and families for their love and support ? xoxo Lea &@female_trouble."

Along with the post, DeLaria shared a photoshopped photo from the wedding picture of Liza Minnelli and producer David Gest taken in March 2002. In the photo, DeLaria photoshopped the photo in such a way that they happened to swap Liza and David’s place in which they posed with their wedding guests, the late Michael Jackson and late Elizabeth Taylor.

It was back on February 5, 2015, that Lea DeLaria was engaged with her fashion editor girlfriend Chelsea but with their break up, their engagement has also subsequently come to the termination leaving no room for marriage in the near future.

After dating for more than two years, the actress DeLaria who plays the role of Big Boo on the show had proposed her then girlfriend Chelsea for engagement.
