The famous American reality television series, "The Real Housewives", has never failed to amaze the spectators with its sheer drama, frequent disputes and shocking revelations since its first premier in 2008, and the eighth edition of series is no exception.
The commencement of the latest season has hardly been a couple of years old, and the buzz is already on. Luann de Lesseps, @CountessLuann, who is one of few of the original cast members left behind, is at the center of turbulence. Her engagement with Tom D’Agostino Jr. was supposed to receive a warm welcome from her fellow housewives, but all she could generate was blatant criticisms.

The dispute kicked off with Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan bringing up the topic during a private dance class, where Singer stated how Lesseps has been self-centered at recent times, “She's only been with him for four weeks. I don't like that she's being self-absorbed, only thinking about herself and the man she's with. She's not paying attention to her friends."
Both Ramona and Sonja have had a connection with D’Agostino, CEO of sourcing company Smart Source: former having dated him and the latter been “friends with benefit” with him. The spark caught the flame when Bethenny Frankel@Bethenny joined the criticism calling Luann a bragging lady with narcissism.
To the contrary, Lesseps’ renowned rival, Carole Radziwill @CaroleRadziwill, seemed pretty happy for her and made sure she get congratulated. De Lesseps was married to her husband, Alexandre De Lesseps, for 16 years before they went through a divorce in 2009 probably because of Alexandre's alleged affair with Ethiopian princess as the reason.
The Confrontational Dinner:
Lesseps poured out her entire outrage and frustrations in the dinner party held at Joanne Trattoria restaurant. De Lesseps, who claimed the criticism sprouted from the ladies’ jealousy, yelled at her co-stars sitting at the other end, "Nothing you can say – any of you – can change my mind about this guy. We have a real relationship, and we're getting married."
The pissed off Lesseps would add before storming off, "When you're here and you're feeling great and you're in love, everybody tries to rip me down. Can you not be happy for me? All my friends are happy for me except you bitches. Why?"
