No longer with Yahoo!
Marissa Mayer had decided to leave Yahoo with nearly $260 million.
Verizon has now taken over all of the websites owned by the mighty "Yahoo," and former Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer resigns and decides to walk away from the company with a pretty hefty and sweet deal worth nearly $260 million.

Mayer famously left Google to take over Yahoo, the Purple Portal.
Mayer will not be sticking around with Verizon (VZ, Tech30) as now Yahoo and its other digital media units like AOL are being combined into a single operating unit called "Oath." As a result, Mayer is also set to receive 23 million USD in severance payment for walking away from Yahoo. She was not fired though!
Mayer owned almost about 4.5 million shares of "Yahoo," which included options and restricted stock units. She took over the reigns as the CEO of Yahoo back in 2012 and her stint for around 13 years led her to accumulate a net worth of $540 million, all thanks to her salary of $1 million.
But to be fair and honest, Mayer wasn't exactly dealt a great hand when she first joined Yahoo. The company had been struggling for several years due to mistakes committed by the company's former CEOs like Terry Semel and Carol Bartz.
Still, Mayer did end up selling Yahoo's core business to Verizon for a whopping amount of $4.5 billion, despite continued woes and worries about Yahoo slipping behind other massive sites like Google and Facebook in the race of digital ads.
Furthermore, in a shocking turn of events, it has now been reportedly said that she too hates Yahoo Mail as much as the rest of the people do.
In a press conference in London, she stated that she was looking forward to going back to Gmail as she’s always faster when using a tool that she designed herself.

But she has also insisted that she will keep her Yahoo Mail account.
I will continue to use the excellent Yahoo Mail too. The team's hard work paid off with a dramatically better product. https://t.co/ZQyTvjULlW — marissamayer (@marissamayer) June 14, 2017
