They're Getting Married! Ice Dancer Meryl Davis is Now Engaged to Her Boyfriend of Six Years, Fedor Andreev
Ice dancer Meryl Davis is all set to walk down to the aisle as she got engaged to her long time boyfriend Fedor Andreev last week with an eye-catching canary yellow diamond ring.
The thirty-years-old gorgeous gold medalist announced the happy news on July 16, Sunday via a picture from Stinson Beach, Calif on Instagram.
Davis shared a photo with her boyfriend-turned- fiancé Andreev, where she flaunted her engagement ring. In the caption, Davis revealed that they got engaged on July 13.
The Olympic champion, who previously announced that she would be focusing on her personal life and wouldn’t be defending a gold medal at the 2018 Winter Games in South Korea, seems to be excited to get married to her long-time lover, though she hasn’t hinted about her wedding.
When Davis revealed that she would be taking a break from her career for a while, she said-
“People ask me now at competitions, do you wish you were out there? After giving it a lot of thought, I always say, no, I feel really good about the capacity I’m here in right now. I think that was really telling for me.”
The former Dancing with the stars contestant Davis and her love interest Andreev, who have been dating each other for almost six years, are practicing parenting skills, as they have adopted a dog named Bilbo Baggins.
