The husband and wife of years have noted their 7th anniversary.
The NHL star Mike Fisher and his wife, country music singer, Carrie Underwood, had something major to celebrate, as they went on a romantic date and exchanged cute & warm love notes on Instagram to each other on Monday.
Alongside the image of his beautiful wife, Mike wrote a lovely message, which reads,
“Glad I took a chance on this baby 7 years ago. Turns out she’s the best wife, and mom to Izzy, I could ever dream of!! #happyanniversary,”
On the other side, Carrie shared a selfie with her husband, and wrote,
“Celebrating 7 years with this amazing man. How am I so blessed to share this life with you, @mfisher1212 ? Here’s to so many more years and memories together,”
The A-list pair first met backstage after the concert of the Oklahoma songbird in 2008. After dating for months, the couple made their relationship official on December 20, 2009.
After a year of engagement, the duo tied the knot on July 10, 2010, at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge-Reynolds in Greensboro, Georgia in front of 250 witnessing guests including his friends and family.
Five years later the wedding, the duo welcomed their baby no. 1, Isaiah Michael Fisher.
Moreover, the couple, who is living in their house in Ottawa, Canada, rang their sixth wedding anniversary by flying off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Because of the sorts of complexity and pressure to a marital life, we have a list of a couple in the industry, who have not been able to last long.
So, how do Mike and Carrie make it work; while being able to balance their careers amid tackling with the stresses of the parenthood, at the very first place? Carrie told in an interview,
“Sometimes you have to make more of an effort to be with each other because it’s really easy to put all of your time and energy into your baby. It’s been — not challenging, but just something that we’ve really just trying to be mindful of and try to make time for each other.”
Mike Fisher has recently wrapped his 17th season in the NHL, while Carrie Underwood is just focusing on her songwriting.
Starting from the very beginning of the relationship; the couple has been sublime to watch as they are constantly growing alongside their connection.
