Wedding Bells! Natalie Lowe Gets Married - Meet Her Director Husband

Four-time Australian Ballroom dance champion, Natalie Lowe, is now married to the company director, James Knibbs. The duo tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony on 8th January at Balmoral Beach, Sydney Harbour among her closest friends, including renowned dancers like Ian Waite, Judy Murray, and Deborah Meaden.

"Australia’s Dancing with the Stars" winner, Natalie exclusively revealed to HELLO!,

“I always dreamed of getting married here one day”

Natalie further commented about her big day as,

"It holds a very special place in my heart and what better time to get wed than the Australian summer. The whole day was filled with lots of laughter, singing and dancing.” 

The wedding memory became the special one for Natalie, which she expressed by saying,

“From the moment I arrived to the last goodbye it was the most memorable and special day of my life.”

Her fiance(now husband) James Knibbs expressed his happiness, saying,

“She absolutely took my breath away. She looked so beautiful walking down the aisle. It is moment I will never forget.”

Natalie was grateful to her wedding planner, Samantha Burke and gave her words of praise for Burke as well. She conveyed, 

"When you are planning a wedding on the other side of the world it helps to have someone you trust that gets the job done. We could not have had this day without her.” 

Natalie's wedding further continued at the reception in one of the distinguished Public Dining Room restaurant in Sydney. And for those who missed the ceremony, the couple planned to hold a party in the summer in the UK, as a great gesture from the couple. 

Natalie later took her Twitter to express her excitement,  

Natalie Lowe, who is known for her dancing skills, first met James Knibbs on a London-Leeds train back in November 2013. Natalie had to take a train to London for a meeting about her show "Strictly Come Dancing," which later became the venue to meet her husband, James.

She recalled back the incident as,

"But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise."

As for James, he was on his way back to Leeds, where he lived at the time. James affirmed the incident to be the best decision of his life. As per James, 

I have to thank East Coast for being late. Getting that train was the best decision I ever made."

Both abroad on the train, the duo was seated facing opposite one another which led them to chat. The spark took them further and the company director, James Knibbs then became Lowe's boyfriend for two years. 

Finally, Natalie's partner, James decided to make a surprise proposal and went down on his knees at the Four Seasons hotel in Hampshire to win Natalie's heart. Natalie had no idea about the proposal until James bestowed his proposal. As per Natalie,

“It was a complete shock.”

Natalie's journey of love, which started on the train ride, drove to engagement back in 2015 when she got engaged with James in October 2015. The couple's love then grew, even more, and deep which was evident in 2017.

Natalie went on the records denying the offer for the new season of the show, "Strictly Come Dancing" as she has to devote her time to her personal matters. Natalie frankly opened her desire to put her love life first as,

"I just felt like I was running out of time. It was the right decision for me at this time in my life. It was as though I was competing against time and myself. I’ve still got a few things I want to do before I start a family and was conscious that another series could hinder that.”

As for now, Natalie completed what she set out to do after leaving the show in 2017. It may have taken Natalie certain time to join the married list from her announcement back in 2015, but Natalie is finally a married woman!
