Ryen, who have decided to make a move after serving ESPN for over eight years now, said,
“This was a really tough decision. ESPN Radio means a lot to me. Even though I won’t be sitting in a studio every day like I have for the last eight-plus years, I’m looking to working on a podcast and still providing content for the company.”
However, despite being attached to the network and finding it difficult to decide upon leaving it; Ryen gushed about him not being completely happy lately,
“I don’t have a lot of a life now. I don’t really have any balance. I’d be lying if I told you I’ve been super happy lately.”
Ryen, whose net worth's figure adds up to $ 2 million as per the reports, further mentioned the extension and shared that he was offered was made in regards to the slots and salary,
“I was offered an extension and it was the same money I make now, In the grand scheme of things, the way the world works, it’s a lot of money and I get that, but my days were going to be different. I was going to be in here for NBA hits on SportsCenter, I was going to be here like 10 hours a day."
Additionally, Ryen opened up saying that the decisions made by him and ESPN is amicable,
“All of this is OK, it’s been super amicable,”
