Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert Are Getting Divorced! The Reason their Split is Unbelievable
It’s an end to American singer and television personality Tamar Braxton’s married life, as she filed for divorce from her long-time husband Vincent Herbert on Tuesday in L.A. County.
Tamar Braxton(age 40) filed for divorce a month before her ninth wedding anniversary with Vincent. Talking about the divorce, Tamar’s representative said-
“At this time we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision and has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert.”
The representative added-
“Collectively, their son Logan and his well being during this very unfortunate process is most important. We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone’s love and prayers.”
The pair previously had a domestic dispute in an Atlanta hotel back in August of 2016. Their discussion turned so loud that cops were called at the hotel when Herbert allegedly bit Tamar’s hand during the argument.
Although the pair settled their dispute and stayed together, they were believed to be having a rollercoaster relationship. Similarly, the rumor about their split swirled soon after Tamar shared an image of her hand on Instagram, where her wedding ring was missing.
A day later, she shared a cryptic message on Instagram, which confirmed that she was having a sour relationship.
Tamar and Herbert have been together for almost fourteen years. They first met each other through Tamar’s sister Toni Braxton, who had been working with Herbert.
The couple then began dating in 2003 and got married in on November 27, 2008. Married for nearly 9 years, the pair shares one child together; their four-year-old son Logan Vincent.
Tamar first announced the news about her pregnancy on March 13, 2013, on Good Morning America. She then welcomed her son Logan Vincent Herbert on June 6, 2013.
Vincent Herbert was Tamar’s second husband, as she was previously married to music producer Darrell "Delite" Allamby. The pair tied the knot in 2001 after they met while Allamby worked on Tamar’s 2000 debut album's tracks "Once Again" and "Money Can't Buy Me Love." Tamar and Allamby, who divorced in 2003, were bound in a marital relationship for two years.
