Wedding Bells! Sam Esmail Gets Married To Emmy Rossum In An Intimate Ceremony

A new phase in life!

Famous screenwriter, film and television director, Sam Esmail is now married to his fiance-turned-wife Emmy Rossum in a lavish wedding ceremony.

The holy occasion took place on Sunday, May 28 and the two are seen jubilant with one another with the inter-religion marriage (Sam is Muslim while Emmy is a Jewish).

The pair, who got engaged to one another back in August 2015 after dating for two years, said "I do" in front of their families and friends at the East 55th Street Conservative Synagogue in NY along with guests, stars like Robert Downey Jr., William H. Macy, and Hilary Swank.

Speaking on Esmail's proposal back in 2015, Emmy said,

"I happened to be in the bathtub when it happened,"

 "And then I realized that it was happening. And then I got out of the bathtub because I didn’t want the story to be that I was in the bathtub when it was happening. And then I got cold as it was still going on, got back in the bathtub. It was a comedy of errors, but it all worked out."

She also added that Esmail proposed with a vintage ring from Paris,

"It's beautiful,"  "It's from the 1930s. He did a good job."
