The billiard icon Jeanette Lee, a.k.a The Black Widow, who has astounded the world with her incredible gameplay, has reached miles with her incredible career despite her shaky married life with her former husband and recently diagnosed cancer.

While many would have given up, the billiard champion is still going strong and living her best life, winning against her battle with stage 4 ovarian cancer.

Jeanette’s world shook when she was recently diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. But more so, the news shattered her family and close ones when doctors claimed her survival could extend only up to a year after her diagnosis.

However, Jeanette, known to ‘eat people alive’ when it comes to her pool game, is fighting cancer with her unbeatable spirit that she dominantly shows in her sport.

Giving updates on the current situation of her ovarian cancer that has spread throughout her body, her manager Tom George said,

She has her second round of chemo (Wednesday). She has lost her hair. She is doing OK. The diagnosis is dire, but people have won.

Pleading for help, Jeanette’s close friends published an article on GoFundMe, a fundraising website, and further described her situation with cancer. The article began as,

It is with heavy hearts that we share that our friend and billiards icon, Jeanette Lee, has been diagnosed with Stage IV ovarian cancer. Cancer has metastasized throughout her body.

Jeanette’s followers and supporters have already come forth, raising 248,105 dollars as of September 30, 2021, with many more help to come.

As her condition was diagnosed as terminal, but with continuous treatment, she is strongly holding on. But, as a single mother, she is most concerned for her three children.

With countless prayers on her way for her well-being, the fighter will hopefully make it out of the other side of the tunnel and will continue to inspire others through her encouraging journey. 

Inside Jeanette Lee’s Married Life

From raising three kids on her own to fighting cancer battles with unimaginable bravery, the pool player is a real-life hero.

To begin with, she was previously married to George Breedlove in 1996. Like Jeanette, her husband is also a professional pool player who has been playing in the pro tour since the age of twenty-six.

His pool accomplishments include securing third place in the World Championship in 1994, winning several ESPN matches, and so on. Further, for his brilliance, he was even nicknamed ‘the flamethrower.’

However, Jeanette’s marriage with her former husband came to an end several years ago.

To this date, neither Jeanette nor her ex-husband is known to have remarried, but Jeanette took the responsibility of raising their three daughters, Cheyenne, Chloe, and Savannah, who are at the age of 16 11, and 10 as of 2021.

Making her come back on her Instagram account after a very long time, she is seen spending quality time with her three girls.

More interestingly, she hinted she might return to pool game with her recent ‘gram post.

Jeanette Back In The Game?

The most recent update on her social handle is sure to excite her fans that they might see her back in the game smashing her opponents, which the billiard world has missed in a long time.

As per her post, she teased her followers, asking whether she should participate in a game organized by Omega. She stretched in the caption that she had not practiced in a while and was confused about participating, but her followers flooded her post with comments urging her to take part.

Witnessing her update, we might soon get to see her out in the arena doing what she is best at, ‘eating people alive’ with her billiard skills.
