American Soccer Player Darlington Nagbe Gives The Credit of His Success to His Wife, Felicia And Two Children

Behind every successful man, there is a woman. Most often, that woman is either your mother or your wife. Likewise, American soccer star Darlington Nagbe gives the credit of his success to his wife, Felicia and two children. Let’s find out how he is motivated by his wife and kids.

“My family motivates me”- Darlington Nagbe

A quarter century old Darlington Nagbe is no doubt popular and is believed to be receiving an incredible salary from his profession. After all, he is viewed as one of the productive players in the country. When Andrew Helms of theguardian.com queried Dalton asking what motivates him in November 2015. Dalton said:

“Just in life, I would say my family. I just want to be a good person, to not let people down. So when I play, it’s just another way for me to have fun."

Nagbe is not the person who gets inspired by money, fame, ego and pride. Nagbe, who loves playing FIFA and watching Netflix in his leisure spends his ideal evening with his loving wife and children.

Married to Felicia in 2012:

Darlington fell in love with a brown-haired beauty in his college at the University of Akron situated in Ohio. Though he was a shy guy, he worked up the courage to talk to her and ask her out. He moved to Portland with Felicia when he got drafted by the Portland Timber. He surprised Felicia with a marriage proposal in Council Crest in 2011. It was a young life decision for both Nagbe and Felicia who were just twenty-one-years old and twenty-two-years-old respectively.  He got married to his love of life Felicia on December 15, 2012.

The couple who tied the knot in the year 2012 has two kids together; a daughter Mila and a son named Kingston.  Kingston was born on December 9, 2015, whereas Mila was born on January 8, 2014.

Darlington Nagbe has appreciated his family and wife for numerous times in his interviews. We don’t think we need to describe that Nagbe loves his wife unconditionally.
