Jake Guentzel Gets 3-Years Contract With Notable Salary! A Young Man Strengthening Stats and Kicking Off NHL Career

The Pittsburgh Penguins signed a three-year contract with this young NHL star on May 23, 2016, which was indeed an entry-level contract.
The two-way contract began with the 2016-17 season, which runs through the 2018-19 campaign as announced by the executive vice president and general manager, Jim Rutherford. Well, this player now knows how to mark his presence in matches.
As per the three-year contract, it's a $2,775,000 deal with Pittsburgh Penguins with a signing bonus of $277,500, while Jake's average salary amounts to $925,000.

Jake got drafted in 2013 by the Penguins in the third round (77th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
The young player then played three years of high school hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and recorded 119 points (40G-79A) in 108 games; which is the sixth highest point in the school history.
Jake later joined the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on an amateur tryout contract, late in the regular season of the year 2016. He emerged as an excellent point producer for the team with six points (2G-4A) in eleven competitions.
Furthermore, the 5 feet - 11 inches and 180 lbs guy took on a starring role for WBS and scored 14 points (5G-9A) in 10 games during the AHL playoffs.
The NHL debut match for Jake came on November 21, 2016, against the New York Rangers, where he scored two goals. Unluckily, he could not score enough points for Penguins to lead the team to victory.

As of now, he became the reason for the victory for his team while playing against the Columbus Blue Jackets scoring the winning three goals. He also got entitled as the first Penguin rookie and the second rookie in NHL history to score a playoff hat-trick for the same match.
Similarly, June's match against the Nashville Predators yielded the Stanley Cup for Jake and simultaneously, he was successful to record 21 points in a single post-season.
