Pacioretty is one of Canadiens best player in 2017. In December of 2016, he scored total ten goals and 15 points in altogether 14 games. He led Montreal Canadiens in goals and points during the month of December and helped his team to a 6-4-4 record and that too without their top scorer in Alex Galchenyuk who is injured.
Max Pacioretty was reportedly hit with a Weber shot in his right leg and had to be helped off the ice court with the assistance of Montreal trainers. He was clearly not in comfort and putting any weight on his injured right leg on his way to the dressing room.
Pacioretty currently leads the Canadiens as his stats read 15 goals and points with 30 in together 37 games this season. It is indeed difficult to understate Max’s role and how hard it would be for the team to deal with an absence of captain for a length of time.
The Canadiens team is already without forwards Andrew Shaw, Alex Galchenyuk, David Desharnais and two of the defencemen Andrei Markov and Greg Pateryn.
When he was asked about the injury after Predator’s game, he said:
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. I just didn’t feel like practicing anymore.”
After total 38 games, Pacioretty’s 18 goals has put him six-goal clear of the next best guy on the Canadiens roster, Alexander Radulov.
He has returned to court in February and has already started to make a mark for the team and added his 27th goal of the season on February 10 in the game against Arizona Coyotes.
