There is no certainty when it comes to finding love. You might have known the love of your life your whole life or got to know them by faith, either way; you never know what life has in store for you. And in dancer Natalie Lowe’s case, she found her love by chance, while traveling on a train.
Natalie, who is the star of BBC’s dance show Strictly Come Dance since 2009, had an unfortunate injury in 2013. She had fractured metatarsals in both feet, due to which she had to back out from that year’s competition. A feeling Lowe describes as “gutted.” But thanks to that very reason, she got to meet her future husband to be.
While on her way to a meeting, she had an encounter with James Knibbs, a businessman, who was on his way back to Leeds (he lived there at the time). They sat opposite one another and started chatting, and two years later, were finally ready to take another step in their relationship.
How It All Went Down:
Knibbs had pre-arranged the proposal, without Natalie’s knowledge. They were at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire, where the staffs pretended that their room wasn’t ready and suggested them to take a walk to the Fisherman’s Lodge instead.
There, the ring was already waiting for their arrival, as the complete surprise was pre-planned. And that’s how James went from her boyfriend to fiancé. The Australian dancer couldn’t wait to share the happy news and said she was "very excited, happy and proud" to announce her engagement.

However, the soon-to-be married couple is holding off their wedding plans until after this year’s Strictly Come Dancing is over.
Natalie Lowe started dancing at the age of 5 and went on to become a four-time Australian ballroom dance champion (according to Wikipedia). She had a shot at fame after joining Australia’s Dancing with the Stars in 2004. In 2009, Lowe joined Strictly Come Dancing in its seventh season, with partner Ricky Whittle of the Hollyoaks and reached the finals.

On the 14th season of the show, she partnered with Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford, whose girlfriend fancies Natalie more than Greg himself. She said,
“It’s ridiculous, I want Greg and Natalie to get closer, then it looks great. She added “I used to be a dancer and I love it. I love Natalie; I love her more than Greg.”
And her partner had following things to say about her,
“We all get on very well. Me, Natalie and James, we all go for dinner together.”
Besides being a professional dancer, Natalie is also known for her dance-inspired fitness program called FitSteps, along with fellow Strictly dancer Ian Waite and former contestant Mark Foster.
