Natalie Lowe is an Australian dancer best known for her work on Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars. She began dancing from the age of three after watching her older brother and sister dance. Since then, the professional dancer has won 11 Australian championship titles in Ballroom, Latin and New Vogue.

Natalie has represented Australia in many competitions worldwide, with the first being in Taiwan. She was just eight years old at the time.

Husband & Marriage

Natalie is married to James Knibbs, a company director. The two first met in November of 2013. She had fractured metatarsals in both feet, because of which, she was forced to back out of that year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

While on her way to a meeting, she sat opposite to James on a train to Leeds (where he lived during the time). They began chatting and eventually turned into a couple.

The two got engaged in 2015 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire, where James surprised Natalie with a proposal.

Natalie and her fiance took another step in their relationship and tied the knot on 8th January 2018.

The ceremony was held at Balmoral Beach, New South Wales, Australia.

Son

The former Strictly Come Dancing professional welcomed a son named Jack James Knibbs in December of 2019. She took to Instagram to break the news. She wrote:

Overjoyed to announce the arrival of Jack James Knibbs weighing in at 8lbs 8oz. We’re all doing amazingly well and are so grateful for this gift of life.

Massive thank you to all the incredible team at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester.

Natalie had first announced her pregnancy on 7th August 2019. The Strictly star revealed that she was 21 weeks pregnant and the baby was due to arrive the same week as the Strictly finals on 7th August 2019.

Strictly Come Dancing

The dancer joined Strictly Come Dancing on its seventh season in 2009. She was partnered with Ricky Whittle of the Hollyoaks. They reached the finals but fell short of winning the competition, ultimately securing the second place.
