The former NBA veteran, David, who last played for the San Antonio, proposed his lady love to get married in November 2017. He did so with a beautiful ring in Bora Bora.
His Danish tennis ace girlfriend-turned-fiancee Caroline took no time to share the picture of her ring through social media accounts. She uploaded a snap of her left hand held against a beautiful background of the ocean in Bora Bora on 3rd November 2017. Her caption read:-
"Happiest day of my life yesterday saying yes to my soulmate"
David followed suit using Instagram, where he shared an image of the duo with a caption:-
“She said YES! SO thrilled to be engaged to my soulmate!”
The news of their engagement came weeks after Caroline competed in the WTA finals, where she won against Venus Williams.
Talking about their once-escalating dating affair, they first got spotted together in 2015. However, the lovebirds didn't begin dating after 2016. They confirmed their romance earlier on 2017 Valentine’s Day.
The tennis star shared an image with a bouquet of roses on her Snapchat, where she wrote-
'Happy Valentine's Day everyone, I'm a lucky girl! Thank you @dlee042.’

Not long after confirming the romance, David and his girlfriend-turned-fiancee Caroline got photographed spending a quality vacation in Sardinia. Well, Caroline wasn’t shy at all to share the picture with her boyfriend from their vacation.

The couple also celebrated Caroline’s 27th birthday a month after their romantic holiday in Sardinia. David, who previously had a contract with San Antonio Spurs as well, took Instagram to wish his wife-to-be “Happy Birthday.” He wrote-
“Happy 27th birthday my love! I am the luckiest man in the world to call you my girlfriend! I love you and have your back now and forever! Let's Celebrate!”
Caroline was previously engaged to Rory McIlroy in 2014, but the Northen Irishman broke up with Caroline over the phone a couple of months later.
