In an ordinary family, while a husband is out to earn bread, the wife takes the responsibility to take care of the children and the rest of the household members.
American standup comedian Sean Lock faces a similar life pattern who has entrusted the entire family responsibility to his wife while he tours around the world for his stand-up comedy. And he claims that returning back home is the hardest thing for him rather than touring.
His hectic schedules have invited conflicts with his wife, but he has peacefully maintained the bond with his family.
For now, we shall grab details regarding his family life as well as his professional life.
How Vigilant His Wife Is Towards The Family
British Comedy Award-winning comedian Sean Lock is married to his spouse Anoushka Nara Giltsoff. He shares three children with his Anoushka. The couple welcomed their firstborn son in 2009, whereas their two daughters were born in 2004 and 2006.
While Sean is busy with road trips, his spouse solely undertakes the family responsibility and takes care of the children in London. Having suffered from malignant melanoma at an early age of 27, Sean and his wife are alert in protecting their children from the disease. As said to a source, he said:
"My partner Anoushka is excellent about sun protection, and if it's hot, she makes sure she puts SPF50 cream on the children before they step out of the house."
No doubt, he is lucky to have a wife like Anoushka Nara Giltsoff.
Anoushka Nara Giltsoff Not Happy With His Tours
Sean being a stand-up comedian, has to tour all around the world. Because of that, he has to stay far from his wife.
And Anoushka is not satisfied with his comedy job. Sean also revealed that it's rather hard for him to reintroduce himself to the family than the long tour. Also, every time he returns from the tour, he argues with his spouse.
In an interview with Timeout in November 2010, he said:
"Every time I come back me and the wife have arguments and I fall out with the kids. The problem is she doesn't know anything about how hard my job is and likewise I've forgotten how hard her job is. That's the hard bit, but you get over it. Recently my wife said, the best thing to do when you come back is just shut the f**k up. Don't say anything. Don't get involved. Know your position. You're the lowest in the family; you're right behind the baby on the list of important things. Stay there. And strangely, that worked."
Well, with the hectic schedule, Sean has less time to be with the family, but with the presence of his wife, the workload got reduced and divided, which has made him focus on his career growth while Anouska gets entirely oriented towards the upbringing of their children.
