Their twins, daughter Maggie and son Gauge, arrived in the world in April 2016. Their eldest daughter, Waverly Chase, was born in 2014.

Family, Siblings

Bailey was born to Melissa Anne Bornquist (mother) and Mike Luetgert (father). His mother is a designer and founder of companies, including Designer's Group, Designer's Age, and MBAW Designs. 

Likewise, the actor's father works as a Senior Managing Director for a firm. Both of them divorced while the artist was still a child.

Bailey also has a brother named Christopher George Luetgert. 

Education

After completing high school. Bailey received a full athletic scholarship at Duke University located in Durham, North Carolina. He played at his college's football team in the defensive linebacker position. 

Eventually, he graduated from the University in 1995 with a degree in Psychology. 

Starting Years in Acting

Bailey stepped into the realm of acting after he moved to Los Angeles to train. While studying acting there, he was sent for further training in London, where he trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. 

He studied Shakespeare there and also managed to perform in plays such as A Comedy of Errors, Picnic, and Death of a Salesman. 

Onscreen Debut & Credits

Bailey made his onscreen debut from the hit TV show, Baywatch (1996). He shared short screentime in the show's episode titled Shark Fever. After landing short roles in some projects, the actor finally got a major role as Graham Miller in the hit TV series, Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1999-2000).

Likewise, he started appearing in shows such as As The World Turns (2003-2005), Watch Over Me (2006-2007), Saving Grace (2007-2010) and Longmire (2012-2014). In Longmire, Bailey played the role of ambitious Wyoming Deputy Sheriff Branch Connally. 

The Longmire star has several movies to his credit as well, such as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Rats (2003), and Dark Metropolis (2010).
