Louise’s Married Life:

Louise got married to David Minchin on 6 June 1998. They enjoyed their wedding in a tiny Hampshire church where 50 people were squeezed in while other guest sat outside with a picnic. Her husband is a restaurateur.

“Burst appendix nearly killed me”- Louise Minchin

When Louise was about to conceive Mia, she had sharp stomach pains. Doctors too asked her not to worry, and she thought that the pain was normal. Later, it was revealed that the pain was due to undiagnosed appendicitis. She was a lady with burst appendix which could lead to peritonitis and death. Louise Professional Life

Minchin has a number of TV programs like The One Show, Real Rescues, and Missing live. There is no doubt that she has a hectic schedule. Every day she has to wake up at 3.40am to present BBC Breakfast and reach the studio before 5 am. She then returns home before it's time to pick her girls from school.  Louise loves sports. She has represented Great Britain at World Triathlon Championships in Chicago on 19 September 2015. She finished 71st out of 78 finishers at the Worlds. She also participated in "Celebrity MasterChef on BBC One in 2016.

Juggling work, training, and family:

No matter how busy Louise is, she always manages her time for her family. She believes that her family is key to her success. In an interview with chesterchronicle.co.uk, Louise was asked how she would relax when she is not working where she revealed that she loves spending her time with her family and her young Labrador Waffle.

 
Louise loves going for a bike ride on Saturday afternoon or persuades her husband or daughter Mia. As her husband cooks delicious foods, it's David’s duty to cook food on Saturday. They usually have a late lunch or an early supper. Therefore, Louise loves spending her time with her family as much as she can.

Louise Minchin was born on 8 September 1968 in Hong Kong. She has received a degree in Spanish from the University of St Andrews and studied journalism at the London College of Communication. She has now established herself as one of the talented British journalists. She joined Breakfast in April 2012. She Louise supports SOS Children's Villages.
