Although the two started dating in 2006, Cat broke up with Joey to focus on her softball career. However, in 2014, the athlete resumed dating Joey after friending him on Facebook.

As of today, the pair is still together and they celebrated their third wedding anniversary on 3rd September 2019.

I've been pitching since I was 11. When I was 16, my Dad saw that I was really pitching well so he decided to move me up to the 18 and under softball league.
