We all know the ladies of the tv show, The View and their endless conversation about almost everything, right? Then you know who Paula Faris is. No need to panic if you don’t, because we got you covered with her biography.
Paula Faris is an American television correspondent for ABC News. Born and raised in Jackson, Michigan, Faris is a graduate of Cedarville University with a broadcasting degree.
She has held different jobs including production, radio-sales, anchor, reporter and talk show host.
Right after graduation, Faris worked at Mills/James Productions in an operation position. She also worked in radio sales and as a production assistant for WKEF/WRGT. After that, in 2000, Faris was offered a job as a sports anchor in WCPO-TV.
In 2011, she moved from NBC to ABC and started working as an anchor for World News Now and America This Morning. Faris occasionally worked as a fill-in host for Good Morning America and was later promoted to a New York-based correspondent for all the ABC News programs.
On August 2015, ABC announced the hosts for the 19th season of The View, which includes Paula Faris along with Whoopi Goldberg, Raven Symone, Michelle Collins and Candace Cameron Bure.
Apart from working woman, Faris is a loving wife and a caring mother to three children. Her husband, John Kruger is a real estate agent, based in New York. The two lovebirds met during their college years at Cedarville University. They got married in 2000 and have been together for 16 years (good going guys). The couple has three beautiful children together. Daughter Caroline Grace (born 2007), sons JJ (born 2009) and Landon (born 2014).
16 Years of the Married Life with Husband, John Krueger
Their 16 years long relationship started from their college days. The couple attended Cedarville University together with a 2-year gap between the two regarding their education, John being the younger. John was on the basketball team whereas Paula was part of the cable broadcast team for their games and this was how they initially met.
She talked about her husband stating,
"He has been my biggest supporter. He has encouraged me through every step of my career and provides emotional support when I am stressed or having a bad day. God has blessed me with a patient husband, supportive friends, and unconditional love from my family. Not a day goes by that I don’t thank Him for the people He has put in my life.”
John works as a regional manager for real estate firm Marcus & Millichap for Manhattan and Westchester, New York and previously worked as a licensed realtor for Koenig & Strey Real Living.
The couple with their three children ( namely Caroline, JJ and Landon, Caroline being the oldest at the age of 10 and Landon being youngest at the age of 3) live in Westchester County in their 1923 colonial house which has an area of 2,500 square feet on a 6,000 square feet lot. Paula talked about the reason for buying a house with such a large plot of land stating,
“When I got pregnant with my third child, I realized I couldn’t stand living in NYC anymore,” she told Closer. “We wanted our kids to have a less chaotic upbringing and give them a backyard.” and furthermore added the merits of her current residence saying,
"A lot of things we like to do are walkable, which is great when you have a baby who loves the stroller! I can walk to grab a coffee, visit a friend or even head to the beach, which we love. I’m also near the airports, and I never know if I’m going to have to jump on a plane at a moment’s notice!”

The family is inherently a Christian family, with both the husband and family hailing from Christian Ethnicity and attending a Christian university. Paula talked about their religious affliction stating,
We try to be involved, but it’s hard with such a frenetic and spontaneous schedule. But we’re they’re every week, faithful members. Our kids are involved in the kids’ ministry there. We’re at church every Sunday and keeping in contact with fellow believers throughout the week, just encouraging each throughout the week.”

Pretty and still playing in her 40s, Paula is currently living with her husband John and three children in Westchester County, New York. She says, “The schools are excellent, and all the light the house attracts was a big draw.”
