Since the actress will be playing the role of princess Cirilla in the anticipated franchise titled “The Witcher,” the 17-year-old has a lot of challenges ahead. The show is a television adaptation of one of the best selling video games and book with a high amount of dedicated fans.

There were backlashes from the fan community when the creators of the show were looking for an actress with black, Asian, and other minority ethnicity actress to play the character of Cirilla.

Fans got concerned that the diverse casting would strip out the cultural context of The Witcher, by removing its Slovak roots. However, as of now, with the selection of Freya (with a European ethnicity) for the role, there have been fewer criticisms.

Along with a focus on her studies, the actress was able to strengthen her skills for performing in her career. After turning 13, she joined the cast of Rapunzel Ballet Lorent's young company and eventually performed LIVE at the Oxford Playhouse.

She even performed the song “Naughty” beautifully along with her friends from the musical Matilda.

The young performer first made her debut in the year 2017 by acting on short films including Bluebird and Christmas Tree. A year later, she worked in her first TV show titled Into The Badlands produced by Amazon. In the show, she played the role of Young Minerva as a recurring character.
