The original cowboy, James Drury is a force to be reckoned. Even at the age 84, the actor known for classic Western Hollywood series The Virginian is still alive and kicking.

On top of that, his retirement from the entertainment biz has not made him stop being a regular at Western Hollywood themed festivals that happen yearly across America. James is indeed an inspiration as he is living every moment of his life to the fullest. Following are some interesting facts you would love about him!

1. Has Net Worth In Millions

James of height 6 feet (1.83 m) first came to the limelight via the famous series The Virginian that aired in 1962. Leveraging his fame and even investing in oil businesses, he has accumulated a net worth of $1.5 million.

Interestingly, he even has a website www.thevirginian.net that he uses to sell his merchandise.

2. Married Thrice

Forbidden Planet star’s personal life is nothing ordinary. He has not married once or twice but three times.

His former first wife was Cristall Othoneos (Orton). James married his now ex-spouse on 7th February 1957. After seven long years of marriage James and his first wife divorced on 23rd November 1964. James had two children with his first wife.

Among his children, elder Christopher Patrick Drury was born in 1956, and younger Timothy Mitchell Drury was born in 1957.

Sadly, he outlived his sons as they both died; older Christopher in 2015 whereas younger Timothy died in 2013. Even his second wife is no longer alive as she passed away in 2016.
