Under public scrutiny for a unique name of their son, Cam Newton clarified in an interview to WCNC in 2015, over why he preferred the name.

“I wanted something that would be masculine, but yet unique, I’m not a big fan of juniors.”

Kia, already a mother of a daughter named Shakira from a previous relationship, shares another daughter with partner Cam Newton. The two seem to bond well, as Cam, on the occasion of her step daughter’s birthday, posted a heart-touching message on Instagram.

Kia and Cam welcomed their next child in the form of an adorable baby daughter on 3 February 2017. The streak of unique names continued as the couple named their daughter, Sovereign.

With another son added to their life on 6th July 2018, they named him Camidas Swain Newton. The name was in line with the couple’s tradition of naming their child uniquely.

Increasing Brood

Kia and her footballer seem to enjoy being parents to the fullest as they are set to welcome another child into the family.

The former stripper took to Instagram to her fifth pregnancy on 1st May 2019 via her Instagram. While it will be her fifth time becoming a mom (daughter Shakira from the previous relationship), Kia’s partner will become a father for the fourth time.

Kia didn’t mention how far along she was in the surprise pregnancy announcement. But she will become one happy mama again with the support of her incredible lover.

The NFL champ is a father figure to Kia’s stepdaughter along with being the best dad ever for his children.
