Kristen Kish Is Engaged To Her Partner | Personal Life Details

Kristen Kish is a chef best known for winning Bravo’s hit reality competition show Top Chef in 2012. She has worked in many high profile restaurants like Michelin-star Chef Guy Martin’s Sensing and Barbara Lynch’s Stir and Menton.

After years of experience working on some of the best restaurants in the U.S., she opened her own restaurant, Arlo Grey, in Austin, Texas, in 2018. Kristen is also the author of Kristen Kish Cooking: Recipes and Techniques: A Cookbook (2017).

The Top Chef winner is engaged to her girlfriend, Bianca. She took to Instagram on 29th September 2019 to break the news. She posted a photo of herself and Bianca enjoying a coffee while showing off their rings.

Before announcing the engagement officially, Kristen had shared her first picture with Bianca. The photo captured her walking alongside her partner whom she referred to as her ‘Forever Date,’ in June 2019

Coming Out

Kristen came out on 28th March 2014 after announcing her first anniversary with her girlfriend at the time, Jacqueline Westbrook.

The chef shared some details about her coming out story with Windy City Times in an interview in 2017. She said that it was interesting and continued

I was dating a woman. She lived in New York and I lived in Boston. We met in Charleston for our one year anniversary. I posted a picture to share the moment. It was not my goal to come out. The floodgates opened. A day after that a New York Times article came out that had done a profile on me and my former boss. It casually mentioned my girlfriend.

Kristen further added that she had already come out to her close friends and family before but didn’t think that people cared.

Kristen Kish was born in Seoul, South Korea, on 1st December 1983. She was four months old when she arrived in Detroit from Seoul on 25th April 1984. A family adopted her in Kentwood, Michigan. She also has a brother.
