On 23rd of February 2016, in an interview with PEOPLE, Nicky shared reliving the beautiful moments of her shock engagement with then-fiance Kelly. She said that on a lovely Friday evening on 12th Feb 2016, as she walked into their lounge, Kelly was kneeling on his knees with a decorative box and could see the pure, perfect and straightforward sparkling ring and shared,
“I walked into our lounge Friday evening and he was on his knee with a beautiful box in his hands,” the bride-to-be tells PEOPLE. “I saw the sparkle coming out of the box, so pure and perfect and simple. And very unexpected.”
And the engagement ring presented by Kerry to Nicky happened to be a 6.5 karat radiantly shining canary diamond designed by Gabriel Jacobs of Rafaello and Co. Jewelers of New York City.
Despite giving detail of her shock engagement with Kerry, Nicky refrained from sharing their first meeting or info about her dating life with Kerry.
Soon to be bride Nicky Whelan then celebrated her bachelorette party in Las Vegas in April 2017, along with friends and husband prospect Kerry. They had a blast as evident in her Instagram post.
