While speaking to Yorkshire Evening Post, Gemma spilled the beans about Patrick’s proposal-
“We've just got back from a fantastic holiday in Las Vegas after Pat won a celebrity poker tournament. Having been with each other 24 hours a day on holiday, we really missed each other when we got back and he went to London and I came up to Leeds.”
She added-
“We were speaking on the phone and he just said marry me. I was shocked, but so chuffed! I had been planning to ask him but he beat me to it.”
Eventually, Patrick and Gemma got married on 9th January 2007 in Saint Lucia. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Ava Baladi, on 3rd March 2007.
However, their relationship ended, and the couple filed for divorce while co-parenting their daughter, Ava.
