 Later, maybe, when Wylie is older, if she expresses such a wish, we would get married for daughter. Unless Apryl and I make the decision before then.

As of now, Richard and Apryl are living separately as Apryl got wifed up by her husband, Jim. However, Richard remains single and is working as a catalyst for carving his daughter's career in the realm of acting and production.

An American actor,  Anderson was born on January 23, 1950, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to the parents Stuart Anderson and Jocelyn. His father was a teacher at a local high school, and his mother was an artist who had talent in both sculpting and painting. Richard has three younger siblings, Jeffrey, Thomas, and James. He studied drama at St. Cloud State University and Ohio University.

As a teenager, he dreamed of being a professional hockey player. However, his dream turned off after the accident in which his both arms were fractured.

Richard got his breakthrough in 1976 when he appeared in the popular daytime drama 'General Hospital.' Furthermore, his popularity multiplied after he won title character in the ABC adventure series 'MacGyver' in 1985.
