When people are involved in a relationship, they often have things going in their mind regarding the future of the connection. They wonder how and when they will be able to take their relationship to the aisle; so they start making plans for their future with the partner.
Sharing the similar scenario is an openly gay Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills; he once revealed his plans to marry his partner/boyfriend with the urge to take things to the next level.
But things are majorly different than what his words suggested. So let us see what the change is in their relationship is and see how it all stacks currently.
Scott Mills Cannot Wait To Get Married To His Boyfriend- But Who's the Lucky Man?
Scott Mills dated his boyfriend Brad Harriss, a retail manager for a long time and enjoyed their life of as a couple for good measures.
In an interview back in May of 2015, with Daily Star Online Scott revealed his plans for getting married to his partner and making him his husband. He stated,
"I want to do it and get married, yeah."
Scott then explained that he had no plans to have kids anytime soon.
"I'm not sure about kids as well though. I think just marriage for now. I can't imagine having children really."
He continued,
"This week I've been out to Vienna and now back to Norwich alone so I don't think that would be fair on kids. But actually maybe one day."
However, Scott made it clear as to what kind of wedding he wants.
"Marriage definitely though. I think I'd like a massive camp wedding and then a big magazine deal."
Adding he still has a few more years till he gets married, he concluded,
"It's not on my agenda right now,"
But despite all the plans and all the romance between them, the relationship between them was unable to reach the end destination of marriage as the two are no longer together.
The two split with one another amicably after being together for three long years, and it seems like Scott did not take long to move on in his life, as he is currently dating fellow radio presenter, Sam Vaughan.
A source opened up regarding their relationship as,
"It's early days but Scott and Sam are really enjoying each other's company and are travelling across the country to see each other when they can.
The source also added,
"Scott has always had a thing for the Welsh and they hit it off after being introduced by mutual pals after he quietly split from Brad.
"They have been dating properly for about three months and bonded over their jobs and their love for running."

Looks like the wish of Scott to get married is coming true shortly; not with the one he bragged, but with the one he silently let in his heart.

And did you know, Scott has been a host for Radio 1 for 16 long years? What is the secret to the longevity of his career which shows him with a handsome salary?
Scott once revealed that himself!
The DJ, who is no stranger to putting older DJs out to pasture on BBC Radio 2, said on his working methods,
“I don’t actually mind the new single. But do I think Radio 1 should play it? Probably not.”
He added,
“They’re trying to get the average age of the listener down and, to be honest, most Madonna fans are in their 30s and 40s. When you’ve got more relevant up-and-coming artists and bands and there’s a space on the playlist, then it’s in the BBC Radio 1 remit that it should go to a British artist anyway."
“So although DJs have no say on what does or doesn’t get played, I completely understand why they don’t play her.”
After pausing and grinning, he said,
“I’ve never actually interviewed Madonna but I am slightly terrified of her. But hey, in a couple of years, I can go over and play Madonna on Radio 2!”
He concluded,
“I don’t think you expect to be on Radio 1 for ever but so long as your outlook and spirit is young, and you feel you can still broadcast to really young people and not sound cranky or embarrassing, then it’s fine. But I never want to be one of those bitter old DJs. Once my contract has expired... perhaps that would be the time to move over to Radio 2."
“It’s the biggest station in Europe so that’s not a bad place to be. It’s a big gear-change but at some point I do think it is going to happen.”
No wonder he is so successful in his career!
