Scotty McCreery, "Clear As Day" Singer Married Cutest Girlfriend; In-Depth Wedding Sights
The American Idol season 10 winner, Scotty McCreery has given the fans his popular hits like "I Love You This Big" and "The Trouble with Girls" to enjoy.
And recently, he has added his other aspect; his romance for his fans and followers to cherish. Taking his kindergarten love to getting married, he has proved that true love does exist after all.
For now, he has finally settled with his long-time girlfriend-turned-fiance by exchanging the wedding vows with the woman of his dreams.
Engagement With Long-time Girlfriend, Proposal on Hill
The country music singer, Scotty McCreery has been involved romantically with his now-wife, Gabi Dugal for over six years.
Scotty dated Gabi Dugal, a pediatric cardiac nurse at Duke University Hospital before they exchanged the marital vows. The pair's bond goes back to kindergarten days where they first met.
During that time, Gabi used to write "Mrs. Gabi McCreery" in her diary which was surrounded by hearts.
After knowing each other for more than a decade, the pair officially started dating when they were in their senior year of high school in 2011. Since then, the duo has been going strong with their relationship.
Following six years of romance, Scotty got down on one knee and popped the question to Gabi in September 2017. During the proposal, the pair were on a hike to their favorite trail near Grandfather mountain in North Carolina.

The news of the proposal surfaced the media when Scotty posted on his website. He wrote,
“I’ve been planning this moment for so long that it feels surreal for it to have finally happened. Gabi is the perfect girl and my true love, and I cannot wait to begin building our life together as husband and wife.”
The songwriter also posted the news on his social media where he revealed his engagement with Gabi. After the engagement, the couple was planning for a wedding in 2018.
North Carolina Wedding; Set For Honeymoon
Scotty McCreery and Gabi Dugal finally tied the nuptial knot in June 2018. After being together for as many as six years, they got married in a wedding ceremony that included over 200 guests.
The wedding took place in the North Carolina mountains among their loved ones. Prior to their wedding Scotty opened up with PEOPLE magazine revealing the kind of bond they shared. He said,
“We’ve been dating six years and have known each other our whole lives. That kind of story doesn’t happen too often nowadays. I support her dreams and she supports mine.”
The wedding ceremony was officiated by Scotty's childhood pastor. The couple and the guests had a jam-packed weekend of activities which even included a Cajun-style shrimp boil two days prior to the wedding day.
Adding to their wedding activities, the pair had a rehearsal dinner night before the wedding on "up on the cliffs" of their wedding venue. The wedding took place on Saturday i.e. 16th June 2018.
During the ceremony Scotty's bride, Gabi wore an elegant sleeveless bridal gown with V-neck and lace accents by Morilee. The couple shared their first dance to "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley.
Turns out the couple served an assortment of pies instead of a large wedding cake. Talking about the wedding theme of black, white and gold decors Gabi gave insights on the wedding theme. She said,
“I kept it very classic. I went with greenery and white flowers, some lanterns and candle votives [for a] rustic feel. We fell in love with the mountains during the summertime [when Scotty proposed], and our [venue] is like a little castle in the woods.”
After the fun-filled biggest day of their life, the pair is set to head for a romantic honeymoon to Tahiti on 19 June 2018. After returning for their honeymoon, they will be moving in together in their new home.
