Steven was born to Faith Furtick (mother) and late Larry Stevens Furtick. His father operated a barbershop in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
On 5th June 2013, his dad lost his life to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
His mother is the part of his Elevation church as well.
