Famously known through her stage name T-Boz, Tionne Tenese Watkins was born on the 26th of April 1970. She was raised alongside her brother Kayo in the city of Des Moines, IA by her parents Gayle & James.

At seven years old, she was diagnosed with sickle-cell disease, which meant her red blood cells stuck to the vessel walls preventing oxygen from reaching tissues. The lack of oxygen leads damages to organs and pain that requires hospitalization.

Standing at the height of the R&B star was told she would not live past 30, but she has been kicking and rocking even at the age of 49 (as of 2019).

Previously, Tionne was in a relationship with the famous rapper, Mack 10. The pair married on the 19th of August 2000 and divorced in 2003. From the relationship, the singer became a mother to a daughter named Chase. She was born in August of 2000.

A few years later after the divorce, Tionne was linked with actor, Takeo Spikes. Takeo is best known for his acting in V.I.P. (1998), On the Fritz and Bizarre Bracket Behavior (2013).

However, just like her past relationship, the one with Takeo also did not last. The couple ended their relationship in 2010.

Tired from failed relationships, Tionne diced to stay single. For company, she adopted a baby boy, 16 years after she gave birth to a daughter. The singer then named her son, Chance.
