Shane West and Mandy Moore, the stars of the 2002 classic love story, have a reunion with film’s director Adam Shankman for dinner to celebrate the romantic movie's 15th anniversary. And the 32-year-old This Is Us actress, Mandy Moore shared an Instagram selfie with Shane West and Adam Shankman showing them all on Sunday.

Moore played the character of Jamie Sullivan, a minister's daughter with leukemia, and leading actor, West played the character of rebellious suitor Landon Carter, recently posted a selfie with the film's director, Adam Shankman as all of them went on a night out on the town together.

Both of them spoke to Entertainment Weekly on January 25, 2017, to celebrate the movie's 15th anniversary.

Mandy, talking about Shane's character said:

'Shane was so cool. Everything about him - the way he dressed, the little cigarettes that he smoked, and the music he listened to. He was the character to me and there was definitely a part of me that absolutely fell in love with him.

Moreover, she added:

'I don’t know if I could discern the difference between him and the character at that point in time because, again, it was my first experience doing anything like this and I was a 16-year-old, impressionable girl.

Mandy’s co-actor West said:

'She really grew up on that movie. We all did, but we were all in our twenties apart from her. I might have had a baby face and that’s great, but I believe I was 24,

He added:

There was someone else — who I’m not going to say right now — whose name was batted around for Mandy's role. I remember I wasn’t keen on that idea and thankfully it didn’t happen.'

‘A Moment to Remember’ is a small-town love story of two opposite’s sex meeting in a high school and falling for each other. Moreover, it wouldn't be a successful film without a twist at the end.
