In videos online, Mr. LaBeouf expressed his outrage that seemed to be targeted at Mr. Trump. Mr. LaBeouf, who has a history of infuriating behavior and a record of arrests for minor offenses, was seen using expletive-laden language asking how the public can make it reasonable “to be a Nazi out here.”

The actor, as well as artist, has been appearing in a live video stream called "He Will Not Divide Us" since President Trump's inauguration ceremony on Friday.

The NY Police Department stated that Mr. LaBeouf was involved in a dispute in the early hours of Thursday. No-one else was charged, whereas Mr. LaBeouf is now released.

During the incident, a 25-year-old man sustained scratches after a verbal confrontation that led to a physical confrontation, a police spokesman revealed.

Moreover, Police stated that LaBeouf pulled the scarf of a 25-year-old man outside the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens scratching his face in the process. They further explained he shoved the man, who refused medical attention.

The tussle between both of them happened on the seventh day of a live stream that LaBeouf and his two collaborators intend to have running 24 hours a day for the next four years.

All of them invited the public people to repeat the phrase "He will not divide us," into a camera mounted on an outdoor wall.

It was unclear if the camera captured any of Thursday's confrontation between LaBeouf and police, but it showed the aftermath that included LaBeouf being handcuffed and led off by police.

Just moments before his arrest, he issued a plea into the camera.

"Hey, be nice. Everybody be nice down here, man. Just be nice! That's the only requirement. Be nice!" he said. "That's all I ask. Be nice. Pro this, pro that. Cool. But be nice."

Moreover, LaBeouf faces a misdemeanor assault charge and is due in court on April 4, 2017.
