Danish actress Brigitte Nielsen welcomes daughter at the surprising age of 54!
Actress Brigitte Nielson welcomed her fifth child, a daughter named Frida with her TV producer husband, Mattia Dessi in Los Angeles on 22 June 2018. The new baby is born healthy with the measurements of 5 lbs 9oz.
The newly born child is the first daughter of the actress as she gave birth to four sons from her previous relationship. She shared her happiness to PEOPLE:
"We are overjoyed to welcome our beautiful daughter into our lives. It’s been a long road, and so worth it. We’ve never been more in love."
The 54-year old Brigitte had announced her pregnancy on May 2018 via social media. Brigitte, who wed 39-year husband Mattia Dessi in 2006, uploaded a photo showing her baby bump on Instagram on 28 May 2018 writing:

Before welcoming a bundle of joys, the Danish-Italian model had previously disclosed about wanting to have more kids in August 2008. She said Hello! Magazine:
“The children have kept me going. After I do Playboy, we want to try IVF. It’s asking a lot, but if it’s possible, it would make our package complete.”
And the arrival of a daughter, Frida has made their family complete.
While Frida is the fifth child for the Cobra actress, she is the first child to her fifth husband, Mattia Dessi. Brigitte is already a mother to four sons, 34 years Julian, 28 years Killian, 25 years Douglas and 23 years Raoul.
Before getting married to Mattia, Brigitte was previously married to composer Kasper Winding from 1983 until 1984, Rocky actor Sylvester Stallone from 1985 until 1987, director and writer Sebastian Copeland from 1990 until 1992 and sportsman Raoul Meyer from 1993 to 2003.
Similarly, she got married to her fifth husband twice as her divorce with her former husband was not finalized when she got first married to her boyfriend of 2 years, Mattia on 8 July 2006. They first met in a restaurant in Lugano where he used to be the bartender on 12 April 2004.
