Most of the people out there were overwhelmed to see Chrissy Teigen and her boyfriend turned husband John Legend enjoying a healthy and blissful married life. However, her partner opened up about his half an hour-long breakup story with Teigen while they were dating.
In an exclusive interview with Guardian published on 3 September 2017, Legend revealed how he tried to end his relationship with his then-girlfriend Teigen, whom he met in 2007 got cast in the music video for his song "Stereo."
Talking about the music video, he said-
“It was this one-on-one video of just me and a girl, and she’s my love interest in the video. We spent the whole day dancing together, grinding together. And, uh, we made a music video.”
Likewise, when opening up about his 'almost-breakup' incident, he stated-
“I was really stressed and busy. I was just like: ‘I’d just be happier single right now,’ and she was like: ‘No.’”
Moreover, on Monday, Teigen shared an article by tweeting, "11 years later, baby,' with a laughing emoji.
She then revealed that it wasn’t a typical breakup and explained the situation in the second tweet.
Teigen previously expressed her side of the almost-breakup story in an interview with Cosmopolitan in December 2016.
She explained-
“I was on tour with him and he’d gotten sick. He was feeling really bummed and stressed out. He was like, ‘I can’t be in a relationship right now.’ That lasted for one day. Literally, a day. I knew it came from a place other than us not working ... I always joke, ‘Remember when you tried to break up with me?’ He’s like, ‘Yes, sorry. Big mistake.’”
Right after appearing together in a music video, Teigen and Legend became a couple and has been together for more than a decade.

The pair got married in the year 2013; two years after Legend popped the question to Teigen on Christmas 2011 in the Maldives. The couple, who exchanged vows in a wedding ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, enjoyed a fairytale proposal on the beach.

In April 2016, Teigen and her husband Legend welcomed their first child, a daughter named Luna. Soon after Teigen welcomed her daughter, she was diagnosed with anxiety and had postpartum depression.

However, the proud parents of Luna, Teigen, and Legend are enjoying their family life with their cute little daughter. Also, it turned out that she coped up with depression by consuming her placenta(the act of eating the placenta (a flattened circular organ in the uterus of a pregnant woman).It's quite a debatable medical act, but as per the model herself, it helped her a lot with depression.
Earlier this year in Marie Claire’s July issue, Teigen revealed about her nervousness to get pregnant again, though she wanted to expand her family. She explained-
“I would definitely adopt or have foster children. But I loved being pregnant. Maybe I should be scared [of having postpartum depression again], but I don’t know. It couldn’t be any worse than it was–could it?”
Born with mixed ethnicity to Norwegian father Ron and mother Vilailuck, who is from Thailand, Teigen continued to enjoy a very beautiful relationship with her husband and daughter. The way she flaunted her relationship with her husband on social media, there were no signs of any splits and divorce.
